Mr. Ellzey will serve as a project consultant for Hand Construction in the preconstruction and construction phases of the project. Mr. Ellzey will advise Hand Construction on matters of safety, assessment and addressing of potential environmental concerns, and various AEP project administration and process requirements
Hand Construction will be engaging the services of Rickey Ellzey, a project consultant with over forty years in the construction industry with experience in all facets of construction including commercial building and site construction.
Mr. Ellzey has worked for AEP and its predecessors since 1998 and has completed numerous jobs at AEPs facilities and locations throughout the region. Most recently, Mr. Ellzey worked for AEP in the completion of the sitework for the Shreveport Service Center Laydown Yard project, the same location as the proposed project.
Mr. Ellzey’s firsthand knowledge of the site and its surrounding area will potentially reduce the project duration. Mr. Ellzey’s experience with AEP and insight into the various processes will prove invaluable and ensure accuracy and efficiency in the project administration.
